Two things you need to know; 1. make sure the stripes are horizontal bc vertical lines make everyone look fat. and 2. preferably red and blue. Just flattering colors and looks summery and cute. I just picked up an amazing inexpensive blue and red striped dress, with gold buttons down the chest area, from Zara and it is my best summer dress of the season.
