Rocker Boots
Although the sun is peaking through the grey winter clouds, and winter is on its way out, we still need to stay warm on those cold windy nights. An awesome boot trend is the rocker look with gold plated zippers and charms. Something that screams out style and passion. Go great with dresses or jeans, any which way you put it, its a great look to end off the season.

Goodbye Leopard, Hello Zebra
I was never a fan of animal prints, because unfortunetly when I think of a leopard printed shirt I picture an old lady with v-neck tight leopard printed shirt with unnecessary cleavage. However, I must say that some cute trendy clothes came out this past season where the leopard print worked. But not too many items. Zebra print however, I am a fan of. I just picked up an adorable A length zebra printed dress and a high waisted pink/black and white skirt and I really think I can work with it. So overall, as long as it's not over done or worn tacky, animal prints CAN work.
Get Those Legs Ready..
Here's my take on jean shorts. Last summer, like every summer, jean shorts takes the summer fashion by storm. You can pair them up with pretty much everything and your guaranteed to look adorable because your showing leg. Here's my question; how short is too short? I sometimes see girls walking around with jean short that are pretty much only covering their underwear, necessary? Not really. If it's still an article of clothing than shouldn't it be covering just a tad more?! Don't get me wrong, if you've got the legs, go for it sister but there's something very revealing and overbearing with short short jean shorts. My take; find the length that suits your body. If your legs aren't all that, make sure they are a bit more "washed out" or a lighter jean and that they reach mid thigh. Even if you do have killer legs, leave something to the imagination ladies. In this case; the shorter isn't necessarily the better.
Printed Flow
There has been this adorable look in stores everywhere of flowy, printed, low crotch comfortable pants. At first I tried them on at H&M and it looked like I was about to grab my computer and hop into bed to watch a movie. But then, I paired it with a tight tank top and strappy sandles and suddenly looked like I was ready for a rocker night out on the town. They are very risk-ay! But makes for a great, daring trend. So if your feeling the need for spice in your life grab these adorable printed pants for only 60 shekels at H&M.
How Did I live Without It..
For too long I tried to fight the jean jacket trend. It crawled back into hottest fashionable stores around spring of last year, but for some reason I couldn't get myself to wear one. As I did my weekly stroll in Zara, I stumbled upon the spring collection in TRF and could not stop eyeing this adorable light washed out jean jacket hanging on the wall with a colorful scarf wrapped around the manikin. I quickly ran over, tried it on, threw on a scarf nearby and looked in the mirror. And there it was. The perfect jean jacket. For a great price, the adorable jacket came home with me and I can't take it off. How did I ever live without one?

Overall Look
There are more than one element to this outfit that I would like to point out and emphasis on. Firstly, the tight knit french braid along the forehead with the flowy haired look to top it off; adorable for any occasion including shopping with friends. The chunky grey bag... we all know that the bigger the bag the better ladies. And most of all, I am a complete sucker for chunky rings. For me, the cheesier the better. For example I just bought four different chunky rings, all of them flower based but big and colorful to add the slightest bit of color to your winter look. Check out Accesorize at any mall and get the latest sales as well.

Brows For The Crowds
In this beautiful country of ours, women tend to think that the thiner and higher, the better when it comes to brows! Think again ladies! The trick in having the perfect set of eyebrows is OH NATURAL! Thats right, with the cleaning/touching up of extra hairs around the edges, the most flattering eyebrow a woman can have is the shape and size that God gave her. The thicker the better (not to say that we all look like Jennifer Connelley but it's important to not shape them completely out of their natural shape and not raise them up, but tweeze around the edges for unwanted hairs. Keep it simple.

When the 90's meets the 60's
I like to give credit where it is needed. This young aspiring new model Fifi Newberry has just the right body and style to go with it. She matched a wonderful combination of 90's grunge with the biker boots and knee highs along with the 60's mini dress and flowy long blonde hair look. To finish up the look she added round light shades and altogether she just looks rockin.
Drama for Dolce & Gabbana
I love the drama and excitement in this 2011 campaign for Dolce & Gabbana. Pay close attention to the details of the fabrics used on both the dresses and the bags, embroidered white lace along the edges of the shirts/dresses and all over the handbags. Almost looks like table cloth material but it brings an elegant look to your day. I just snatched a gorgeous white dress with this pattern, princess sleeves to the knee for my friends wedding. Check out Bugrashov Street in Tel Aviv for French and Urban style boutiques.

Knot It Up, Real High
I love when a good and easy hair trend comes to life. For all you women who wake up to lazy to straighten or curl your hair, here's a look that can work for both work or a night on the town for drinks. Braid the first chunk of hair in the front above the forehead adn swoop up the rest in a messy bun look. Make sure to brush the sides so that it's not frizzy or too messy looking.

Black And Blue
I am usually not the biggest fan of black and blue as I have expressed in previous posts but when done correctly it can rock out! I like this look because of the contrast in the black and blue coloring as well as the difference in fabrics between coat and pocket. The splash of leather on the bottom pockets gives this coat a boost. Make sure when matching up black and blue that the blue be a lighter navy and let the contrast be in the black that stands out against the blue.
Leopards Run
I am loving the new print that has taken pretty much every article of clothing by storm. From underwear to pumps to short skirts to tanks, leopard is EVERYWHERE. At first I thought it was tacky, but when done right it can rock the socks off any fashionista. Beware of putting two different kinds of leopard prints together unless it comes as a dress. Since the article will probably be loud and "in your face" keep the accessories to a simplicity and tone down the shoes as well.

Flip Em Up
Fellas,
Just when you thought I forgot about you, Im bringing sexy back to your closets. You might find this weird at first but the truth is, as I have discussed in the past, mens fashion just isn't as exciting! IM SORRY! For all yall business men, the newest trend is flipped collars. No, you don't flip it yourselves, they come sold like that. Just an extra sexy touch to an oh so sexy look.
Take The Long Route
Ladies, do you ever wake up in the morning thinking; pants make me look bulky, I want a nice feminine touch to my look today. Well here you have it, no need for tights or leggings, just straight up Maxi dresses. Keeps you warm and makes you look as girly and conservative as you can be. You can snaz it up with a belt around the high waist or throw on a blazer or leather jacket for the cool morning breeze on your way to work.

I'm Singing In The Rain..
Hello Ladies! Winter is upon us, and its been a while since my latest post. Just when you thought the winter would never spring upon us, its time to whip out those rain boots. You heard me, rain boots are THE trend for this coming winter. The funkier the better. any pattern, color or picture works. Rock them with jeans or tights and a skirt.

Get Spify
They are everywhere and taking over the fashion world by enormous storm. Thats right, the Oxfords shoes are in and here to stay. They are an adorable look that make you look put together and classy. Pair em up with skinny jeans or printed tights and a short pencil skirt. The crazier the colors the better!

Shades For Decades
Its important to have the best pair of shades to dazzle up your look. These days, any pair works. Make them your own. I picked up these bad boys at the flea market on Sundays in LA. They are a bit scratched up at the top but makes them even more mysterious. And you know how intensely important it is for Israelis to rock the shades, because for them it is a form of expression and style. I believe it stems from their army years where their uniform is all that defined them and buying the sunglasses that suit you most was the only way of standing out.

Fedora's for All
Urban Outfitters is by far, my new favorite store. Its like an affordable version of Anthropologie, kinda. In any case, they have amazing sales, and I walked in the other day to find a rockin sale and all these incredible fedora hats for 10$. I mean, what beats a fitted beige trench, boots and this adorable hat that flips up in the back with a bow holding it up.. perfection in a hat. Snatch any kind of wool fedora to handle those wintery cold nights.

Speak Your Mind
One of my favorite pieces of clothing are t-shirts. I love collecting adorably fitted t shirts with cute catchy sayings. I have collected some from all over the world. Today I went to the Annaberg Museum of Photography in LA, that had an exhibition on photographic journalism raising awareness of worldly conflicts. Freedom of speech is very important however some of the topics hit home for me. All the Israeli-Palestinian photographs that were shot were very pro Palestinian and portrayed the Israeli Defense Force in a very bad light. The way we can make a difference through fashion is to state how you feel and what better what then on a t-shirt. (This t-shirt is just a joke, but you get the point)

Hottest Accessory
If you think I am kidding then think again. This is no joking matter. Here in LA, coffee (to go) is an actual accessory. It adds a "I'm so laid back" feeling to your outfit. In Israel however, no only is coffee not cool to walk around with but its more of a downtime, to sit and drink hafuch at the local cafe. Here and in NY as well, coffee not only wake you up but looks adorable when your walking around. How weird? Not gonna lie, I kind of caught onto the trend. Bringing it back to with me to the holy land... so ladies, grab your cups cuz were goin for coff!

Lace It Up
Lace is sexy and taking over the fashion world by storm. Its always classy and chic. I am finding it all over stores from shirts, to tanks, to dresses, to bits and pieces on shirts. The good part is that you can dress it down or up. Whatever you please. Just scored two shirt with princess sleeve cut out with lace from H&M. The best would be to look through your mothers closet for her old lace things.

Bringing Sexy Bangs
Not only am I obsessed with Glee, but to top it off Rachel from the show's new hair style is one to blog about. Not gonna lie, I went out and got bangs and its great. Whole new look. Sometimes we need the smallest change in our hairstyle to brighten up our look. Try light highlights or side bangs or even a trim, you'll feel the difference in your look.

Chunky Monkey
All Rise For The Queen
Alexander McQueen was definitely the master of fashion. His styles were outrageous and breath taking. He was a fashion guru and there was nothing and no designer like him. He passed away in Feb. 2010 just around fashion week but his passion for fashion will live on forever. This is one of my favorite pieces of his, and this post is in memory of his awesomeness that he brought to the fashion world.

Sequin Your Life
Sequin is the hottest trend right now, whether it be shoes, bags, hats you will be seeing it all over the place. I just scored an adorable sequin hat in black amazing for spicing up every outfit. It's a little out there but if you have a regular plain peacoat jacket for the upcoming winter, grab a sequin bag or hat and add a little dazzle to your look.

Vintage in LA
So as most of you know, I am currently in LA and absolutely loving the fashion here. So different than Israel's European trends or New York's label loving trends, the bohemian, vintage looks are out of control. There is a flee market every Sunday off LA's hottest rocker road, Melrose that just screams old dresses, rusty jewellery and everything vintage. I snatched an adroable dress similar to the Olsen twin's look and lots of rockin rings and necklaces for under 20$. Bring vintage and bohemian styles to your closet but rummaging through those old sweaters and shopping at used clothing stores. Tip: wrap an old school belt around the stomach on any old dress or sweater to score some vintage points in your outfit.
Yee Haw Cowboy!!
Absolutely love the cow boy boots look. I just scored a pair from Forever 21 and they are perfect for every outfit. They are timeless. Goes with leggings, jeans, skirts, dresses.. you name it. They are all over the fashion world on celebs and all. It's also an easy way to kick up a lousy outfit, and add a little heel to your day. Whether they are black or brown, be as old school as you can in finding the perfect pair. Get through those rainy days and still look adorable.

Bringing in the New Year with a Fresh New Look
Instead of showing my readers another picture or style they should mimic, I decided to blog (after taking a long unintentional break) about the importance of self styling. Everyday we wake up in the morning, look at ourselves in the mirror and think, "Good morning self!" We then carry on to brushing our teeth, maybe even showering and starting our day. What is the first thing we do before we go into the outside world? We get dressed. Most of you probably have enough clothing in your closet to open up your own store, yet we all feel the need to buy more and have more and own more. For me, it isn't even the act of purchasing that fulfills the void, it is the mere feeling of owning it. Knowing that it is mine.
And so we look at our closet, most of us thinking "I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR". Here's the thing, in the end, whether we change our outfit 10 times or walk out with the first thing we put on, we style ourselves. Clothes are an expression of who we are. And so, even if your not in the mood to wear heels, or a hat or a skirt, know that you are who you are and you should always feel good in what you are in. In the end of the day, its all we have in this world. Take the new year with a new light and before you match up your shoes to your bag, take a deep breath and smile because you are who you are regardless of what you decide to wear, and thats the best style one can have.

Colorfully Set
Mulberry is a luxurious English fashion label that includes high end fashion bags, clothes, shoes and accessories for both women and men. Their fall/autumn 2010 collection is loaded with colorful patterns that make any outfit look great. I espically loved this photo because both models stand out and a whole story is told in this photo. The fun, adventurous side of the label comes out in the photoshoot and expresses the fun side of every women and man, but keeps the luxury.

Learn From The Best
Without fail, Gisele nails it again and again. This time for a Robert Cavalli campaign for Fall 2010. Doesnt matter what the background or location, she always manages to work the garment and sell what she has to. One of a kind model and superb fashion in one shot. The vibrance of the fire and cloudy, dark skies just exuberates her passion and "fire".

Marc Jacobs Does It Again
Once again Marc Jacobs works his magic and manages to coordinate the latest trends with supreme perfection. As I mentioned in past posts, army like trends are very in and this dress is the army red blanket stripe pattern that he whips out on a dress, on skirts and jackets. I love love red so this piece for me is divine. He is just a genious at what he does and is respected by all corners of fashion. Watch out ladies, you will definitely be seeing versions of this badboy dress.

Groovy Baby
This picture was taken in 1960's. Can you believe how close to what the fashion is today, was back then? I can totally see a major celeb in this exact outfit. I find it incredible how fashion just continuously repeats itself. The sheer white blouse, highwaisted shorts and white strappy sandles could most probably be found at your local urban outfitters. In any case, I am not the most vintagy kind of girl, I am more trendy but I do get inspired by fashion from the past and there is so much to learn from what has been to what has become.

'Back In The Day'
Even in the year 2010, black and white pictures are worth a million worlds and can be so powerful. These days we almost abuse color in the sense that, we go ALL OUT on what matches what, and crazy colored designs on the runways, however there is something very special about black and white film. It tells such a story and invokes such nostalgia. I always find that when I am rummaging through my parents old photos the black and white shots of them as children makes me stop and think of how different the wolrd was back then. Dont get me wrong, without color we would be nowhere but there is still a strong and bold statement that can be made through a photo that was taken in black and white film. Even in this editorial piece we can see some form of color shining through with their outrageous hair do's and vibrant dresses.

Photography At Its Finest
There is so much that is put into a fashion photoshoot that we dont even know about. This photograph is the epitomy of true imagination and talent. Not only is the scenery absolutely breathtaking but the thought of putting a model in standing on the arch of a bridge somewhere in Europe with the skyline so beautiful and the statues on the wall is magnificent. I absolutely love this picture for so many reasons.

Playful Fur
I absolutely love this model; Alison Nix is a 22 year old bombshell with a talent for modeling that has and will take her to great places. She is fun and playful and most importantly in a model; she gives variety and she is into it. Being the "Americas Next Top Model" fan that I am, I must say I have a new found appreciation for modeling and all their work. Now for the fashion part, the a-line dress with the fur on top is just perfect and the midcaf seude brown boots tie it altogether to form get stlyling done by Zana Roberts Rassi. This shoot was done for Marie Claire US August 2010.

Rummage Through Grandpas Closet
So I really love the intensly drastic changes in trends that make people walk by you and say "What the hell?" Those were some of the reactions I got when first purchasing my nerd frames that I wear all day every day. But Im not so sure how I feel about this trend. Socks with heels. You know your father or grandfather have the best, warmest most vintage socks to rock with your new pumps so whip em out ladies and make a stand at your next club outing. Let me know how it goes.
Anthropologie Does It Again
I am such a fan of this unique one of a kind piece, store that portrays femininity and style. Their use of materials and colors play out perfectly with they styling in their photo shoots. In this picture there is a contrast between the old school wall paper and hard wood floors and the new, stylish looks on these models. One wears a simple yet extrodinary silk dress with lace linings along the neck and sleeves, and is quite mini to keep those boys wondering :) then we have the latest cargo pants and ruffled cardigan alongside the ankle boots with little accessories because the outfit says it all. I just love how they manage to combine elegance with the latest trends witout looking silly. Best news, you can order anthropologie straight to Israel (let's just say you should make this order at the begining of the month when your salary is still there)

Dakota Fanning Marie Clarie Shoot
I like to give light to the younger generation of celebrity because I feel its important to show their shining moments early on. I absolutely love the styling in this photo. I think they made celebrity Dakota Fanning, who in the eyes of the media is a "little girl" look young and fresh with a twist of funk. The poofy pokadot mini matches the crimped widespread hair and pulls toegther with the jewelled cardigan, tights and black studded boots. Although still young, this 16 year old can be a role model in terms of style for other girls her age. With the way 16 year olds are dressing these days, we can use a little CLASS for our younger generation.
Tribute to Classic Israeli Fashion Chain
I have to say that living in Israel has taught me some interesting things about style. When I first moved here I was totally thrown off, but over the last 4 years things have really changed. Israelis are learning the trends a lot quicker and the European market has a crazy effect on styles here in the Holy Land. Introducing: Razili. Its a chain of fashonable stores that combine many famous Israeli as well as American and European designers. It's relatively expensive but the quality and atmosphere of the store helps make it a wonderful shopping experience. The idea of the store is to combine all different types of trends from a collection of top designers. Check out their website for the store nearest you. www.razili.co.il

Buns In The Oven
Newest hairdo is the messy bun placed at the top of the head. In this picture it looks pretty perfect but even the messy, out a bed kinda look. Looks great with nerd glasses look and its a chance to whip out those intense necklaces that you dont get a chance to wear. So pull your hair up, if its long wrap it around in a bun, if its short just use bobbypins or an elastic and show off that beautiful face.

Nerd Shoes Come Out To Play
I have been trying to get my hands on a pair of Oxford shoes for a couple months now but have not found the perfect pair. Instead I can dig through my old elementry clothes and whip out my Docs. I mean this fashionista rocks the vintage dress, flowy hair, high black socks and doc shoes. Love the look!

Lady Gaga Inspired
Although I dont like to give credit where it isnt deserved, I must say that Lady Gaga has inspired fashion in a way that I dont necessarily think she deserves but definitely attracts some major attention. Vogue Latin America decided to take a bit of her look and slap it onto model, Shannan Click. Im strictly talking about the shoes. They are bright, intense and entertaining. Im not suggesting that my readers go out and buy them but its something to look out for these coming season. Intese rinestone, flashy pumps or platforms.

Forever Young
Be forever young with forever 21. This look is the perfect summer outfit for everyone. Who doesnt look adorable in a fedora hat? We all have classic jean short shorts, grad your boyfriends buttondown, throw on a grey tank and pull it together with a thin waist belt and top it off with amazing oxford shoes! LOVE IT!!
Zegna For Men
Men, better pass over those credit cards because this blazer is a must have. Over my blogging time, I have realized that men's fashion is even more complicated than womans. Believe it or not it is harder to suggest stuff for men to buy than for women. The truth is women need everything from A-Z including the perfect bag and most indulging accessories and men just need one or two items that are a must have and the rest just falls into place. In any case, this wool blazer is the perfect touch to a pair of rundown jeans and simple comfy t-shirt. Zenga designers got it right with this one.
